Bude Lit Fest Events 2023

We are so excited to share with you the exciting line up programme of our events for this years Bude Lit Fest!

Our headliners this year include stand-up comedian and broadcaster, Mark Steel, and American comedian and musician, Rich Hall, while Raynor Winn is back to celebrate her latest release and lead a ‘secret location walk and talk’. There will be further walks and talks across the town with local authors, and fascinating workshops such as family history writing, becoming your own publisher, calligraphy, book binding and illustration, lyric writing and more.

There is a full programme for families and kids, including Rob Pudner from ‘Entertaining Different’ with an interactive character treasure hunt (I wonder how many characters you would recognise?), and a director and film set artiste (think Star Wars and Harry Potter) with extraordinary tales of the movie industry. Local musicians are once again with us to share their creative expertise. James Dixon, Gary McCausland, Rosa Rebecka, Mariner’s Away amongst others are all confirmed in the line-up. And our local authors will include David Thorn showcasing his historic photography, Jonathan Ball with tales of The Eden Project and Piers Brendon on The Monarchy plus so much more!
